BlueHeart
BlueHeart is a revisited port to GTK2 of the original famous BlueHeart theme by Claudiu Christian Fofiu.

Download : GTK2-Blue-Steel.tar.gzBrushed
One of my first GTK2 theme, designed while learning GTK2 themeing.
The archive contains a script (bash/zenity) to configure the different options available for the buttons, (tabs for old version), progress bar and Metacity themes (script written by leloxias).
Install the theme as usual. To change the options, launch "configure" located at the root of the theme folder (~/.themes/Brushed/configure), a preview of the options helps you to choose the options.

chaos
A port of chaos from GTK1.
Download : GTK2-chaos.tar.gzClarity
From Stefan Nicolin's idea, uses 'milk2' colours into 'gonxical'.
Download : GTK2-Clarity.tar.gzDebian-GTK
Debian-GTK is an adaptation to GTK2 of the Debian 1.0 skin for XMMS created by Jesper Schultz .
Theme under Artistic License.
Download : GTK2-Debian-GTK.tar.gzDogmastik
Dogmastik is a theme inspired by DogmaX (WindowBlinds) and Plastik (KDE).
Download : GTK2-Dogmastik.tar.gzGnursid
Gnursid uses colours similar to XP/Olive.
Download : GTK2-Gnursid.tar.gzGonxical
Gonxical is based on the Gonx project, the latter is used to create the user interface of the successor of the BeOS.
My theme is more conservative compared to it but renders better like that with other gtk-only apps that are not HIG compliant :(
Download : GTK2-Gonxical.tar.gzModern_Time
Based on the Modern skin from Mozilla.
Please try "panel_bg-??px.png" graphic from "Modern_Time/panel_bg/" as panel background.
You can setup alternative buttons and menubar for the panel running :
"Modern_Time/.alternative_panel".
To get the default look back run :
"Modern_Time/.default_panel".
Download : GTK2-Modern_Time.tar.gzModern_Time-2
Based on the Modern skin from Mozilla and mozilla-modern-2 GTK 1.x themes.
Please try "panel_bg-??px.png" graphic from "Modern_Time/panel_bg/" as panel background.

A blue theme designed as an alternative to the industrial theme engine that I don't really like.
I wanted buttons and scrollbars to be less flat with a slightly different colour to distinguish them easily.
Also wanted smooth edges for menubar and toolbars.
Download : GTK2-Neutrino.tar.gzOctober-02
My first theme for GTK2, a port of a theme for GTK1.
Download : GTK2-October-02.tar.gzOdyssey
Human Odyssey (orange), Mars Odyssey (red) and Sea Odyssey (blue).
From version 1.1 there are classic tabs and toolbars without glassy effects as well as normal buttons for the toolbar compared to version 1.0. Try the panel background found in the panel_bg/ directory.
I recommand Afterhours-orange Emerald theme for the window decorations.

Perseid

Pharago is a mix of Gonxical for the widgets and Gnursid for the colours.
Alternative menubar for blended window manager themes :
Copy menubar-4blending.png to menubar.png to setup the new menubar
(copy menubar-default.png to menubar.png to get the default one)
Download : GTK2-Pharago.tar.gzPhenix
Phenix is a theme inspired by mozilla-modern-2 with more rounded widgets and using colours close to Netscape8.
Phenix-no_orange is a variation of Phenix without using the orange colour.

Purplemania
I loooooove purple ! Do you ?
This theme uses plastik-like buttons and scrollbars, option and check boxes are from the Jander theme.

Quark
This theme was designed to be very simple and almost flat.
Download : GTK2-Quark.tar.gzReminiscence
Inspired by my old gtk1 msn theme.
I took one of the background colour, added some noise/grain. I wanted blue buttons, so I made some kinda squared aqua ones... and ended up with that.
There are two alternative backgrounds included, one is more grainy while the other is brushed. To use them, rename bg-brushed.jpg to bg.jpg for example.
Obsolescence and Luminescence derive from Reminiscence, just greyscaled most widgets for Obsolescence.
I don't know why but many people tends to prefer grey themes rather than "colored" ones !

Sedation
An adaptation of the Sedation theme for Enlightenment (http://pixelmasochist.deviantart.com).
Under BSD license.

Zen aims to be clear, soft and configurable in colours.
Colours for selected text, progress bar and Metacity borders can be changed running ./configure at the root of the theme directory (usually ~/.themes/Zen/).
Default is purple, other ones are blue, grey, brown, orange, yellow, olive and green.
If you want to choose your own colours, copy gtkrc-gnome_color_scheme to gtkrc into the Zen dir. (cp ~/.themes/Zen/gtkrc-gnome_color_scheme ~/.themes/Zen/gtkrc), then use the GNOME colour chooser to set your colours. This gtkrc version uses a Clearlooks progress bar.
